HarperCollins Publishers is currently seeking a Speakers Bureau Associate to join the Speakers Bureau team! The HarperCollins Speakers Bureau works with an array of cutting edge and thought-provoking speakers and authors from all the HarperCollins imprints, as well as Harlequin and HarperCollins Christian Publishing to secure paid speaking engagements in major markets within the United States and around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with our authors to support successful events. The Associate will report to the Manager, Speakers Bureau.

If so, we’d love to talk to you about becoming an intern this summer working with the Adult Sales team at HarperCollins.
The HarperCollins Summer Internship Program is a paid, remote, 10-week program which runs from June 13th through August 18th. All interns work 28 hours per week (typically Monday-Thursday from 9-5 EST). As a HarperCollins intern, you will learn about the entire publishing process - following one book from beginning to end while hearing from the people who worked on it in our weekly Speaker Series. There are plenty of opportunities to network with your fellow interns, and the end of the program culminates with a presentation called “How to Get a Job in Publishing”– offering advice on your resume, cover letter, interview, and networking. The recruitment team is searching for applicants who identify with groups that are traditionally underrepresented in the publishing industry.

The Key Account Manager will work towards annual sales goals, manage day-to-day account requests, communicate with internal publishing, marketing, inventory, and production teams including custom production team. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, creativity and great listening skills. The key to success and growth will be to develop creative ideas that help accounts achieve success and increased revenue. In addition, this Key Account Manager position will be assigned to recruit and develop NEW business opportunities with secular non-profits.
HarperCollins is looking for a Java Developer. The primary responsibility of the developer is to code and implement new or enhanced features in the enterprise content management system where work in process assets for print and digital content is stored. Responsibilities include working with an external vendor to maintain and update application code as well as partnering with Infrastructure to maintain the environment.
