HarperCollins Christian Publishing seeks a creative Senior Graphic Designer with experience in designing and typesetting 4-color life style, cookbooks, and gift books to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. We’re an in-house Content Design team looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into high-design book interior layouts.
The successful candidate should have an intimate knowledge of current book trends and typography to support our fiction, non-fiction, and specialty publishing teams. We work in a fast-paced environment, so strong and appropriate creative vision and execution are crucial for the role, as well as organization and managing a demanding schedule.

The Marketing Manager is a strategic and tactical leader in planning and managing marketing activities for key frontlist and select backlist titles. This position will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for several books on our team. These comprehensive campaigns for assigned titles include (but are not limited to) marketing positioning, consumer messaging, social media strategy, oversight of launch team, online advertising, events, and budgeting. In partnership with authors, agents, editors, vendors, retail sales and other team members, the marketing manager applies an integrated approach to meet sales goals.
In addition to author and title responsibilities, the Marketing Manager will assist with other initiatives to support the Tommy Nelson team.

The acquisitions editor must research trends, know the process of book publishing, and understand the children’s market. Books to acquire will be from 0-adult in all formats, such as board books, picture books, juvenile fiction, YA nonfiction, etc. The acquisitions editor is responsible to strategize and manage title plans for product categories to ensure the publishing group produces the budgeted amount of product to meet annual fiscal goals. We publish with a research and financial based mindset and the acquisitions editor must strategize and manage title plans to ensure the publishing group produces the budgeted amount of product in a timeline to meet annual fiscal goals.
The Marketing Director plans and executes marketing programs for the Thomas Nelson Bibles group that facilitate sales of Bibles, as well as translation stewardship.
The Zonderkidz team is in search of an editor who will be responsible for acquisition, editorial, and product development of children’s and teen products (e.g. picture books, juvenile fiction, YA nonfiction, etc.). This individual will work with the publisher to strategize and manage title plans for product categories to ensure the publishing group produces the budgeted amount of product to meet annual fiscal goals. We work with a broad range of authors including Rick Warren, Sally Lloyd-Jones, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Chrystal Evans Hurst, Linsey Davis, Jess Connolly, and many other leading communicators.
