Join our team!   HarperCollins Children’s Publishing is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our Backlist and Channel marketing team. This team is responsible for marketing all of HarperCollins’ Backlist titles for children of all ages (0-18 years old), including multiple bestselling and award-winning properties. This team also has a dedicated focus on providing support for the independent booksellers, educational wholesalers, and Scholastic.   This individual will work under the supervision the Associate Director of Marketing, closely with the Senior Marketing Director, and provide general administrative support to the Backlist and Channel team. They will interface often with the other marketing categories, such as Digital Marketing, Publicity, Early Reader, Middle Grade, Teen, and School & Library Marketing. This role will also work very closely with the Sales team focused on independent booksellers.   The ideal candidate is someone who loves classic children’s books, is a team-player and proactive about problem-solving, and a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Are you passionate about books and connecting books with readers?  HarperCollins has the exciting opportunity for a Field Sales Representative to join our Independent Retail Sales Team.    The person in this role will lead the day-to-day relationships with the independent bookstores in their assigned territory.  They will be responsible for selling all frontlist and backlist titles across the HarperCollins Adult and Children’s lists. This position is our indie accounts’ primary point of contact for all things HarperCollins, and will forge relationships based on trust, open and timely communication, and a strong knowledge of our lists and processes.    In addition to their selling responsibilities, the Field Sales Rep will provide feedback on an ongoing basis to Sales Leadership, Publishing, Marketing, and Publicity on what is happening in the marketplace for their territory with title sell-in and category trends.   The Field Sales Representative will report to the VP, Deputy Director of Sales.  This position will sell Adult and Children’s titles to independent bookstores in the Southeast territory (FL, GA, SC, NC) and will be based out of the Atlanta or Jacksonville areas.

HarperCollins Children’s Books is seeking a talented, organized, creative and passionate Video Manager/Producer to oversee all aspects of video strategy and production for both social media and video ad content. Leveraging content from thousands of books as well as leaning into key trends and values of our readers, the ideal candidate is up to date with the most current video trends, extremely knowledgeable about social media platforms, and able to execute micro, short, and long-form video content.   As the Video Manager/Producer, you will be responsible for creating effective videos that get engagement and drive book sales. This role is responsible for handling all aspects of video production from strategizing best practices for our brands and platforms with the social and video team, to brainstorming and storyboarding with our marketing brand leads, to managing relationships with freelance producers and agencies, and coordinating or overseeing on location shoots. As this role works across three unique brands (HarperKids, Shelf Stuff, Epic Reads), the right candidate must be able to adapt their voice to speak to viewers of all demographics and ages. This position will report to the Director of Digital Marketing.
