The Marketing Manager, Zondervan Academic/Zondervan Reflective is a strategic and tactical leader in developing and managing detailed title campaigns for both frontlist and backlist books, from concept to execution, from initial budgeting to ROI analysis. This person straddles the worlds of both product marketing (approx. 7-10 frontlist/backlist academic books per year) and direct sales within the Christian higher-ed industry. Regarding the latter, the Marketing Manager executes direct sales/marketing campaigns to instructors and students; leads or participates in sales calls to top Christian colleges, universities, and seminaries (2-3x per year); and executes strategies designed to build leads and secure textbook adoptions. This person manages the production of the seasonal academic catalogs, executes aspects of the examination copy review program and follow-up, and oversees displays and promotions at 10+ regional academic conferences per year.

The successful candidate should have the technical ability to handle complex designs with content that is heavily footnoted, indexed, and full of tables and images.
