Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Editor, the Assistant Editor is responsible for providing editorial and administrative assistance for the Love Inspired inspirational romance publishing programs as well as soliciting, acquiring and developing authors/books for this program. The primary purpose is to ensure the ongoing and timely supply of high quality, saleable titles for the list.

The HarperCollins Information Center/Archives department operates within the Corporate Communications department. Its primary responsibility encompasses the maintenance of both the Corporate Archive and Book Archive. The Corporate Archive comprises a diverse array of historical materials such as newsletters, original catalogs, author and building photographs, and various other documents, while the book archive holds more than 140,000 physical books stored off-site. The HarperCollins Archives/Digital Archives boast over 1,000 artifacts, author profiles, archival catalogs, and additional resources. Our objective is to facilitate employee engagement with the rich heritage of HarperCollins, its affiliated imprints, companies, titles, and esteemed authors.
As an intern within the Corporate Communications department and the HarperCollins Information Center/Archives, you will be exposed to the day-to-day workings of a small corporate archive, as well as a Records Management program.
