- Candidates must be available to work in our NYC office from Monday – Thursday for a total of 28 hours per week, from June 7 – August 12, 2027. Compensation for this internship is $18 per hour.
- Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to 1 year of work experience.

- Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program.
- A passion for books is highly valued! All book lovers are welcome, but a strong familiarity with the children’s book market is a plus.
- Proactive, creative, and attentive to detail
- Excellent writing skills, including ability to write in a voice appealing to consumers and consistent with HarperKids and/or Epic Reads brand
- Experience in content creation and knowledge of social media trends, particularly on Instagram and TikTok
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills a must
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of platforms including Canva, WordPress, and Photoshop a plus!
