HarperCollins Publishers is launching a state-of-the-art, 1.6 million-square-foot, 24/7 distribution center designed to revolutionize supply chain logistics with cutting-edge technology. To lead the HR function for this flagship facility, we’re seeking a seasoned Director, People to drive workforce strategy, foster a culture of respect, and ensure operational excellence.
The Director, People will oversee HR operations for our new facility, partnering with senior leadership to align workforce strategies with business goals. This role requires expertise in managing multi-shift, 24/7 operations, policy design and implementation, employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in OSHA compliance, including 300 log reporting and inspections, and a track record of success in large-scale warehouse environments.

The salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
