HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP) is seeking a strategic, visionary marketer who will lead the marketing activities for FaithGateway Online Bible Studies (OBS), the largest community of people doing Bible studies together online, with teaching from some of the nation’s bestselling Christian authors.
The marketing manager must be an excellent communicator who will work with leading HCCP authors and OBS partners, whom have included Christine Caine, Anne Graham Lotz, Margaret Feinberg, Ruth Chou Simons, Louie Giglio, Lisa Harper, Chrystal Evans Hurst, Max Lucado, Lysa TerKeurst, and many more. This role is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and execution of OBS marketing campaigns to drive the KPIs of sales, growth, retention, and engagement. Working with our Direct-to-Consumer Brand and Platform teams, as well as title marketers from within the HCCP imprints, the Sr. Marketing Manager will own development and flawless execution of 8-10 campaigns per year, including, but not limited to: campaign concept and strategy; creative direction; messaging and copy development; and working with digital marketing channel leaders to bring initiatives and campaigns to life.
The ideal leader has 5+ years experience in marketing positioning, consumer messaging, brand marketing, organic and paid social media, eCommerce sales, and performance reporting/analytics.
This role is fully remote with travel a few times per year to Nashville, TN for team retreats and conferences. Hybrid in-office work from Nashville, TN or Grand Rapids, MI headquarters is also optional.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Industry Knowledge: Firm grasp of marketing best practices in email marketing, content marketing and/or eCommerce. Knowledge of trends in audience engagement, lead generation, sales funnels, conversion strategies and content marketing. Prior book publishing or women’s ministry experience not a requirement but is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
