HarperCollins Publishers is seeking an experienced Data Analyst specializing in Data Governance and Data Quality Management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing and improving data quality, defining standardizing schemas, supporting the implementation of data governance practices, and ensuring adherence to the organization’s data management framework.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of data governance principles, data models & relationships, data quality standards, and data management best practices. This individual will analyze data to understand data relationships, develop specifications for standardized datasets, identify quality issues, ensure compliance with governance standards, and provide actionable insights to drive data-driven decision-making.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data owners, application owners, and data custodians to implement and maintain data quality and governance processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for this role.

The salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
