HarperCollins Christian Publishing is seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented professional to join our Digital Sales team as a Key Account Manager. This full-time role focuses on managing key accounts in the digital publishing space such as Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, and Logos, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate excels in analyzing sales trends and leveraging data insights to drive sales growth and reach new customers. The ideal candidate will love digital books and have a strong desire to share more about our content both externally and internally. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing online retail landscape are essential.
Essential Responsibilities:
Knowledge
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, data analysis, or related fields.
Experience working with national or online accounts preferred. Familiarity with metadata management and digital content optimization is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of online retail platforms and e-commerce trends. Familiarity with sales forecasting, consumer data analysis, and market research. Knowledge of the publishing industry, especially audiobooks, digital libraries, and online retail, strongly preferred.
Skills:
The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000 with an additional bonus opportunity. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
