We are currently seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to assist our Adult Sales Team, with a primary focus on the national accounts, specifically Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Ingram, and Baker & Taylor. This role will report to the VP/National Accounts and work in tandem with our Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Ingram, and Baker & Taylor Adult sales representatives.

 

This is a hybrid position based out of our New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Provides sales support to National Account Managers selling Adult titles to Barnes & Noble.
  • Creates title catalogs required for monthly Barnes & Noble sell-in.
  • Manages seasonal preview presentations for Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.
  • Responds to customer requests for general title information (samples, prices, pub dates, online assets, etc.) and other general inquiries for Barnes & Noble and BN.com, including Nook/Digital Audio.
  • Maintains weekly POS reporting and researches point-of-sale history as requested.
  • Liaises with Sales Operations department to organize and maintain ongoing seasonal materials.
  • Attends internal seasonal planning meetings (Launch, Positioning) for all Adult publishers.
  • Provides additional administrative support to the department, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to set priorities under pressure, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Required 3 days per week in the NY office

The salary range for this position is $50,700-$53,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.  As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
