HarperCollins Publishers is currently seeking a Speakers Bureau Associate to join the Speakers Bureau team! The HarperCollins Speakers Bureau works with an array of cutting edge and thought-provoking speakers and authors from all the HarperCollins imprints, as well as Harlequin and HarperCollins Christian Publishing to secure paid speaking engagements in major markets within the United States and around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with our authors to support successful events. The Associate will report to the Manager, Speakers Bureau.

• Provide general support and administrative duties for the team.
• Act as a representative for the Speakers Bureau;  respond to general speaker inquiries from venues, clients, and potential sponsors by email and/or by phone.
• Coordinate logistics for speaking engagements, including detailed itineraries, AV needs, travel arrangements, etc.
• Assist with managing the Speakers Bureau’s website updates and maintenance, including creating speaker profiles.
• Assist in creating content and managing a social calendar for the Speakers Bureau’s social media channels and newsletters.
• Execute departmental mailings, research, and pitches to promote speakers to potential sponsors.

• College degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of relevant work experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, as well as video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
• Meticulous attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to set priorities under pressure
