Cost/Paper Analyst

The role of the Cost/Paper Analyst does daily on-line input to the Paper and Cost System, balances the transactions/feeds and prepares monthly reconciliations along with other responsibilities of the position.


  • Does daily input to Paper System and Cost System in an online environment.
  • Prepares monthly reconciliations for department.
  • Balances Paper System and Cost system transactions/feeds on a daily basis.
  • Prepares and inputs various journal entries when needed.
  • Performs low level Work-in-Process ledger review.
  • Responsible for weekly job closings in the Cost System.
  • Reconcile vendor receipts in the Paper System to printer reports.
  • Responsible for AP Invoice processing.
  • Responsible for AP check and ACH matching.
  • Responsible for good record keeping.
  • Other special projects as required


SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Position reports to Supervisor, Cost/Paper Valuation, Accounting



Daily contact with Accounting Management, New York and Scranton Inventory Departments


  • Associate Degree in Accounting with two to three years prior experience or Bachelor of Science in Accounting with minimal experience, or recent college graduate.


  • Solid PC skills and background using an on-line general ledger system is also preferred
