    Responsibilities

    Essential Responsibilities:

    We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join the FaithGateway team, the content marketing and eCommerce division within HarperCollins Christian Publishing that reaches more than 1 million readers per week with its blogs, email marketing programs, and direct-to-customer eCommerce site. In this role, the intern will have a wide range of responsibilities that will have measurable impact and distribution to our audiences. The day-to-day tasks of the intern include:

     

    • Curating content from bestselling authors published by Thomas Nelson and Zondervan and creating blogs in WordPress to publish and distribute to readers.
    • Creating store landing pages in Shopify
    • Copy editing and creation of content and eCommerce marketing emails
    • Assisting in collecting analytical data using Google Analytics
    • Creating campaign graphics and social media memes in design platforms like Adobe Creative or Canva.com
    • Writing and scheduling social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest

     

    Qualifications

    Required Status:  Must be a Fall 2020 College Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student

     

    Skills:

    • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
    • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
    • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications
    • Knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, HTML, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus but not an absolute requirement – training is provided.
    • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
