  • Overview

    Oversee Returns Processing department. Directs, coordinates and plans. Directs the activities of full time and temporary employees and responsible for maintaining company standards of safety.
    Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of returns and ensuring credits are processed in the system within specific timeframe. Coordinates receiving and outbound RTC shipments. Managing daily workflow with other departments and personnel. Perform investigations of claim issues and communicate with other locations via email, telephone and fax. Maintain Forklift Operator certification and operate forklift to load and unload trucks occasionally.



    Essential Job Functions

    Manage full time and temporary employees


    Planning, organizing and controlling of returns processing department over-all operations involving returns


    Oversee pre-receiving, receiving, UPS, and USPS returns


    Supervise NOP/OP, Jacket Repairs, Mass Market areas


    Schedule appointments for inbound and outbound shipments


    Process all returns within 3 days from receipt


    Coordinate with maintenance and internal IT department to maintain system updates


    Responsible for providing and tracking on-job training


    Conducts employee performance reviews and discipline


    Audit of daily labor; monitor and control daily attendance


    Review and approve all direct report timecards and PTO requests, using Ultipro


    Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis while ensuring deadlines are met


    High attention to detail and accuracy – measures and maintains accuracy of returns utilizing available resources


    Maintaining company standards of safety in the work environment; performs accident and near miss investigations. Corrects unsafe behavior immediately


    Periodically assist with loading and unloading pallets from trucks


    Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Warehouse Director





    3 years of previous experience in distribution, logistics, operations planning and/or warehouse environment

    Must have previously supervised multiple employees in a warehouse environment


    Must have good communication skills


    Ability to speak with all levels of the organization


    Possess the capability of reading and comprehending instructions/procedures


    Must have forklift driving experience


    Successfully complete Forklift Operator Certification process


    Must be capable of standing all day and lifting up to 50 pounds


    Good organizational and Math skills


    High School graduate or equivalent (GED)


    Proficiency with computer , including AS400 and Microsoft Windows



    Other Skills or Abilities

    Must be able to read and write English fluently


    Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment



    Physical Demands

    Standing, walking, climbing up and down, bending, reaching, crouching, grasping, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying


    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, making hearing protection optional but not required


    Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus


    Hearing is necessary due to the automated equipment used (horn honking required to notify pedestrians that vehicles are near)
