    This internship is for SUMMER 2019 in the HarperCollins Christian Publishing offices located in Nashville, TN.

     

    This summer enjoy yourself!  Do work that matters!  Gain real-world experience with an internship that invests in you and who you want to be.  As the Corporate Communications intern at HarperCollins Christian Publishing, you will work with a high-energy team who is responsible for corporate messaging, author relations, social media, corporate events, and much more.  Expand your communication, organizational, relational, and technology skillset by joining our team. 

    Responsibilities

    Primary responsibilities will be assisting with event management planning, organizing and execution. 

     

    Secondary responsibilities will include:

    • Designing social media assets and scheduling
    • Assisting with intranet posts, design, and functionality
    • Creating presentations
    • Writing blog posts
    • Author relations

     

    Qualifications

    Must be a Fall 2019 College Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student

     

    Knowledge: social media, how to create and execute timelines and meet deadlines, how to operate power point, WordPress or Sharepoint knowledge a plus.  Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point

     

    Work Experience: Office or administrative experience preferred, but not required

     

    Skills Required:

    • Highly organized and can multi-task
    • Knows how to create social media collateral
    • Highly motivated
    • Great interpersonal skills
