    The Digital Marketing Operations eMail Marketing Manager will lead HCCP in email marketing best practices, legal compliance and overall strategies for execution.  They will assist marketing teams with development, understanding and implementation of email marketing strategies utilizing industry best practices and standards.  They will be responsible for the development of KPI reporting at the campaign, team and overall executive level. This position is expected to pro-actively work with marketing teams to analyze email to make data driven business decisions.

    Responsibilities

    • Analysis of email marketing campaigns for compliance with industry best practices
    • Development of a clear CRM strategy
    • Develop and execute email marketing strategies and content calendars in collaboration with publishing imprints, ecommerce team and digital marketing team members to create the best email experience for our subscribers
    • Work with internal IT resources to ensure efficiencies in email approval process and that essential technical steps are taken for proper email program setup and integration
    • Define business logic behind customization, campaign prioritization, and frequency.
    • Manage and implement reviews of email programs that review and evaluate stats, learnings, trends, improvements, etc… 
    • Conduct testing to improve email efficiencies and share the learnings about the execution and outcomes of those test along with recommendations based on the results
    • Manage company email strategies, identify opportunities and aid teams in the development of critical email marketing programs including items such as copy, personalization, creative, A/B testing, MVT, list segmentation, etc.
    • Increase the deliverability of HCCP email campaigns through the application of best practices to avoid blocked emails or junk folder placement.
    • Aid teams in the creation of data-driven, segmented marketing campaigns, lifecycle promotions and dynamic messaging through email channel.
    • Establish KPIs, track performance, and analyze results to optimize campaigns and analyze data across all marketing and merchandising channels both online and offline.
    • Deploy targeting and personalization strategies to drive engagement and deliver the right message at the right time

    Qualifications

    Knowledge: Strong knowledge in eMail and digital marketing, campaign reporting, KPI and ROI reporting

     

    Work Experience: 4+ years working in email marketing execution or strategy role.

     

    Education: Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Marketing or related fields (Visual Arts, Communications, Computer Science, Art, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Industry Knowledge: Publishing knowledge preferred.

     

    Skills:

    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Copywriting skills and previous experience with a successful email marketing management
    • Proficient in Excel
    • Experience reviewing, analyzing and translation of data into actionable insights for execution
    • Experience with ESP’s
    • Analytical
    • Segmentation, attribution, list building and subscriber management experience

    Additional Skills:

    • Strong curiosity about data and ability to leverage wide-ranging analytics to create impactful business insights
    • Ability to stay on deadline and work with multiple projects and shifting schedules
