  • Overview

    HarperCollins Publishers continues to expand the use of JD Edwards to support business operations globally. The role of JDE Functional Analysis will provide business and technical expertise in delivering key integration projects aligning local systems to standard global solutions. As liaison to the business, responsibilities will include development of functional specifications, quality assurance, and operational support.


    • Work with the business and others to understand and document business requirements
    • Consider methods by which these can be introduced into JDE
    • Align business requirements to functionality in the core system
    • Work with design and development teams to an implementation approach and plan
    • Perform software testing and debugging
    • Develop integration test plans and conduct testing
    • Program documentation/Maintaining Up to date System Documentation (SOX)
    • Support the daily, weekly and monthly production processes of the JDE OTC and/or JDE Financials system, and help identify and correct any issues that arise
    • Support, educate, and train business staff in JDE methods and procedures
    • Adhere to all HarperCollins policies and procedures for system change and development, including documentation and promote procedures
    • Keep management informed of progress on all key projects
    • Work with vendors to ensure provision of quality service
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned



    • Five years’ experience with JD Edwards Order to Cash and Financials software version 8.11, 8.12, or 9.1
    • Strong experience in Order to Cash and Financials business processes and best practices
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills and detail oriented
    • The successful candidate should be driven by the principles of continuous improvement
