We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the second annual New to Publishing Information Session and Networking Event. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the headquarters of HarperCollins in NYC, network with current employees (including hires from our first New to Publishing event!), and get tips on resumes, cover letters, and the interview process.
The New to Publishing event is perfect for anyone without industry experience who is interested in an entry-level role in book publishing. This is a great opportunity for those looking to change fields or to gain exposure to the following departments:

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of HarperCollins employees, and a select number of applicants will be invited to attend. The application deadline is 11:59pm on October 31, 2018. Candidates being considered for the event will be contacted by the end of November.
*Please note there will be no reimbursement for travel/accommodations.

The application process is anonymous. Applicants must submit a one-page essay answering the questions outlined below. No resume is required, and names should not be included in the essay.
As resumes are not required, when prompted by the system to submit a resume, the essay should be submitted in its place.
