    The Advertising and Promotion Department is seeking a Senior Manager to act as a designer, working with imprint(s) to manage, design, and produce a variety of print and digital ads, social media assets, and printed material.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the marketing department(s) to design promotions for assigned division(s) including print & webads, digital Facebook/eCard creative, displays, sell‐sheets, postcards, brochures, promotional kits, signage, stickers, and giveaways.
    • Oversee all stages of promotional projects, including researching promotional ideas; approving proofs, and negotiating pricing with new and current vendors.
    • Create and/or pull copy from in-house systems as needed for various projects.
    • Design corporate advertising, including sending files to the outside ad agency as needed.
    • Assist with trade and consumer shows such as BookExpo, BookCon, and Comic Con in the creation of banners and promotional material on an as-needed basis.
    • Responsible for supervising one associate designer.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years design experience with a varied portfolio
    • Strong interest in project management with the ability to brainstorm ideas and think outside the box
    • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite programs required: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
    • Solid knowledge of print production
    • Knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver a plus
    • Ability to delegate multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
    • Excellent leadership and project management skills
    • Ability to work cross-functionally across the division and within the company
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
