  • Overview

    HarperCollins Christian Publishing is looking for a motivated professional to manage CPC/PPC marketing initiatives. This person would be responsible for launching, optimizing, analyzing and reporting on CPC/PPC campaigns for marketing services platforms.

    Responsibilities

    • Launch, optimize and analyze CPC/PPC campaigns
    • Keyword selection, audience targeting and headline copy
    • Management of budgets for CPC/PPC campaigns
    • Maintain high levels of education in the CPC/PPC space and stay abreast of developments and trends in CPC/PPC strategy
    • Develop reporting & dashboards to successfully communicate the effectiveness of strategic CPC/PPC efforts through established KPI’s
    • Guide publishing teams on CPC/PPC recommendations & strategy on campaigns as it pertains to their individual vertical/authors/process
    • Execute tests and analyze performance to aid in guiding company strategy on new functionality
    • Identify, analyze and educate on key trends with CPC/PPC marketing
    • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting in accordance with publisher goals.

    Qualifications

    Work Experience: Preferred candidates will possess 4 - 5 years of solid general marketing experience including demonstrated digital knowledge and fundamental marketing skills and 2+ years of SEM/PPC marketing experience. Demonstrate solid skills in analysis, reporting, SEO and digital marketing concepts. Proven track record in the area of CPC/PPC marketing with solid experience in scaling CPC/PPC campaigns. Analytical thinking with strong mathematical skills

     

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media or a related field and proven track record in CPC/PPC marketing. Certification in SEO/SEM is a plus.

     

    Industry Knowledge:

    Knowledge of HCCP family of authors is preferred but not required. Publishing industry is not necessary.

     

    Skills:

    • Understanding of SEM /PPC marketing
    • Certification in analytics (i.e Google, etc.)
    • SEM management experience
    • Working knowledge of HTML
    • Proficient in Excel/Powerpoint
    • Working knowledge of analytical tools
    • Excellent communications skills

    • Analytical thinking with mathematical skills
