  • Overview

    HarperCollins Christian Publishing is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to support its Export Sales division.


    The Sales Coordinator for Export Sales will provide support for the Export sales and marketing personnel in Nashville, Grand Rapids, Toronto, London, and Sydney and for international retailers and distributors throughout English speaking countries outside the US.  


    In addition, this position will have the opportunity to gain sales experience by managing a select group of international retail accounts.


    HarperCollins Christian Publishing (“HCCP”) is based in Nashville, TN with business operations in Grand Rapids, MI, Spokane, WA and Mexico City, MX. This position will be based in Nashville, TN.


    Support duties include but are not limited to:

    • Provide operational and account support for all international accounts
      • Serve as point of contact for account needs and requests
      • Assist in preparation of sales reports and presentations for account visits
      • Assist in report analysis and sales tracking
      • Liaise with customer service for expeditious handling of orders
      • Collate and send images and other marketing collateral as for use in retailer websites, catalogs, etc.
    • Provide support to International Sales and Marketing team.
      • Support inventory control process / international editions, core Bible product stock management
      • Liaise with custom product team to develop product for International accounts / run on with domestic print runs
      • Manage all catalog, sample, and sales conference materials mailings for International sales team
      • Process all gratis orders for International sales team
      • Admin for trade shows and book fairs
      • Forecast, collate and send galleys to key accounts and media
      • Track key catalog, in-store and online placements for key titles
    • Provide sales and service for HCCP products to a select group of international accounts
      • Achieve revenue and profit goals for selected accounts
      • Assist in development of sales strategies and plans for growth for selected accounts
      • Approx. 50 accounts / Estimated revenue of $250k
    • Any other related tasks and assignments deemed necessary


    Work Experience: 1 – 3 years of prior experience in administrative support roles required. Sales support is preferred.



    Education: B.A. or equivalent work required



    Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the publishing industry is highly desired. Experience supporting international accounts in any way preferred.
