The Director Sales: Business, Leadership & Personal Finance, while residing in the Sales Dept. will work with our applicable Sales, Publishing and Marketing teams, providing them necessary tools, feedback and information to help them achieve their prescribed goals.
This person will also, “own the category”, meaning he/she will be responsible for providing feedback, reporting, insight and recommendations across the company that provide insight and speak into growth opportunities.
Work Experience: Minimum 6-8 years in a Business-to-Business selling capacity with increasing levels of accomplishment and leadership. Demonstrated track record in achieving and exceeding sales goals. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience in selling creative content.
Education: High School required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; additional work experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of retail and online sales environment— key competitors and trends. An understanding of selling creative content, branding and marketing is preferred.
