Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities: The royalty intern will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of reporting and analysis for the Royalty Department.

 

The intern will:

  • Work within the Royalty system to create author accounts and accruals
  • Learn about eBook POS reporting as related to financial entries
  • Assist in preparation of self-publishing royalties and statements
  • Help with intercompany reporting and reconciliations
  • Create and edit royalty review reports for Publishers
  • Review royalty data for forecasting and analysis
  • Assist in mailings
  • Some clerical work (e.g. photocopying, email, internal forms, etc.)

Qualifications

Must be a Fall 2018 College Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student

 

Skills Required:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of business intelligence tools
  • J. D. Edwards experience a plus

Industry Knowledge: Candidates should have a working knowledge of how sales transactions relate to financial reporting. General understanding of the Christian market or royalties is a plus, but not required.
