Overview

HarperCollins is seeking a Royalty Adminstrative Assistant for our office on Montage Mountain (Moosic, PA).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for organizing all incoming mail.
  • Responsible for organizing manual checks for statement cycle.
  • Responsible for typing and distributing correspondence and memos for the department.
  • Responsible for distributing royalty statements and/or reports on a monthly and/or cyclical basis.
  • Requires knowledge of the royalty system and workings of royalty department in general.
  • Organizes and maintains royalty reports and files.
  • Assists in departmental functions as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills since position deals with authors,agents, etc.
  • Organizes statement mailing as well as instruction to royalty colleagues.
  • Special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Friendly and Professional mannerisms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Data Entry Skills
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
