Job Title: Systems Analyst

Location: Currently North York, ON
Spring 2018: Moving to 22 Adelaide St W, Toronto


Job Summary:
Serve as a system analyst in IT department, this role will take responsibility of requirement analysis, technical design/implementation, test, documentation, and user training/supporting from begin to end. Work closely with user groups, and rest of the IT teams to get requirements analyzed and implemented.


Major Accountabilities:

•Develop Hyperion Planning web forms, reports, and business rules to fulfill business requirement;
•Create data load files from source systems (Oracle/SQL Server) to feed Hyperion FDMEE;
•Work with the business and technical teams to support business requirements analysis and technical design specifications;
•Identify technical alternatives and recommendations;
•Perform data analysis to help verify business requirements, and support functional and technical designs;
•Implement solution based on functional and technical specifications;
•Develop effective, defect free source code that meets business requirements and team standards;
•Develop and execute test plans;
•Work with the DBA teams and other IT service teams to get solution implemented;
•Create and maintain production support documentation;
•Actively provide business (Respond to user questions/issues) and technical support;


Qualifications Include:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields;
•Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle/SQL Server/My SQL);
•2+ years of software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within Financial Applications;
•1+ years of experience in Hyperion planning, Hyperion Essbase;
•Experiences with large ERP software, such as Oracle EBS/JDE, is preferred;

•Open to new concept and new technology, be able to learn and apply to work quickly;
•Java programming experience will be a plus;
•A good team player, as well as the ability to work independently;
•Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure;
•Good verbal and written communication, listening and interpersonal skills;
