Reprint Production Associate

This position is based in our office in Monmouth Junction (Princeton), NJ.


HarperCollins Publishers is currently seeking a Production Assistant to assist the Reprint Production department in daily tasks related to the reprinting of backlist titles. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who wishes to learn about making books, both print and digital.


  • Assists department and Sr. Manager with various projects.
  • Sends active Children’s books for safety testing and maintains relevant reports.
  • Maintains reprint sample library.
  • Routes corrections through Design and Production Editorial for Adult reprints.
  • Manages daily reports and schedule updates for key titles.
  • Processes orders for digital short-run titles.


  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Prior publishing internship experience a plus
