Overview

Job Summary:  To achieve and exceed designated sales goals for Thomas Nelson and Zondervan product lines by providing superior sales and marketing support to independent Christian Bookstore retailers within an assigned territory and providing sales support to assigned Field Sales Representatives.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales goals based on assigned  territory
  • Sell and serve all independent Christian retail accounts via phone & email within assigned territory
  • Work with customer service to ensure proper handling of all inbound orders
  • Plan, communicate, and execute weekly/ monthly calling campaigns
  • Build and maintain a positive sales relationship with accounts
  • Maintain and exceed prescribed daily sales activity via phone and email
  • Record and report sales activities as prescribed
  • Work with designated Field Sales representatives to serve and support top accounts
  • Learn and integrate the available digital tools into your daily sales routines
  • Attend sales conferences and meetings as prescribed
  • All other duties as designated

Qualifications

Work Experience:

Direct sales, telesales, customer service and relationship building.  1-2 years sales experience; Retail or call center background preferred

 

Education:

College degree or equivalent work experience

 

Industry Knowledge:

Working knowledge of Christian products industry; conversant in evangelical Christianity
