Overview

This position requires a highly motivated individual to be a member of an IT Development Organization and perform system design and programming activities to a customized JD Edwards Order to Cash ERP system.

  

Responsibilities

  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications using JDE development toolset. Particularly UBEs, APPLs, NERs. Experience in BSFNs would be an advantage.
  • Software testing and debugging using the JDE toolset.
  • Program documentation
  • Troubleshoot and identify systems problems and suggest alternative solutions.
  • Support the daily, weekly and monthly production processes of the JDE OTC system, and help identify and correct any issues that arise.
  • Work with Business Analysts and others to design and develop system solutions
  • Adhere to all HarperCollins policies and procedures for system change and development, including documentation and promote procedures.
  • Keep management informed of progress on all key projects.
  • Align business requirements to functionality in the core system.

 

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience programming with JD Edwards Enterprise One, preferable including Order to Cash. Experience using versions 8.12, 9.0, or 9.1 would be an advantage.
  • Experience with JDE programming toolsets including Application Design Aid, Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid, and Object Management Workbench, including JDE debugger and Visual Studio.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL database tools.
  • Be familiar with JDE database table structures and concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
